Chosen consultancy for a 7 month engagement working to a budget of £400k to select, design and implement secure network access controls, intrusion prevention services across LAN, WAN and wireless networking environments, and the implementation of network performance management controls. 

Our Response: 

Provided a core team of an IT infrastructure lead, 5 infrastructure SME’s, across client, server, infosec and networking disciplines. 
Delivery of a strategic, secure network access platform, across London and Leeds offices (1,200 seats). 
Delivery of a multi-faceted IPS defence strategy to provide an enhanced level of protection against potential malware and network threats. 
Installation of Cisco FirePower on the external firewall devices and IPS threat detection on the internal CheckPoint firewall services. 
Implementation of IEEE 802.1x port-based authentication to provide secure identity-based access control at the edge of the switched network. 
Implementation of resilient Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for centralised management and monitoring of secure access across wired and wireless networking environments in Leeds and London. 
Implementation of resilient Cisco Meraki wireless solution to provide increased network visibility and guest access alongside Cisco ISE integration. 

Key Outcomes: 

Successful implementation of network performance management controls resulting in improved service predictability, management and performance of the network. 
Successfully migrated 400 client employees to a new, secure environment, with zero downtime and zero incidents raised. 
Delivering a multiple vendor firewall solution, providing defence in depth. 
The solution deployed initially in London, and then Leeds, resulting in a consistent, high quality and secure wireless experience for corporate, guest and BYOD devices. 
Maintained an unbreeched security posture and PCI-DSS re-certification.
